Running Karmic, VirtualBox OSE...running Windows XP Pro.

Insane.

Have karmic and win7 + jaunty on 3 sided cube. Running karmic and win7 seamless.

#3

I think you're doing the sensible thing.

You coose the secure, stable OS for the host system, and the one that's more likely to crash for the guest :lolflag:

#4

OP - Was that XP in VB in Karmic host or Karmic in VB in XP host?

#5

Karmic is host

edit: at least, that's how I read it...

#6

Yes, that's how I read it - great stuff if so :) Will probably try it myself with XP Home. :lolflag:

#7

That sounds fun :D

Do i just have to edit the distribution info in synaptic to start playing with Karmic development?

Not concerned if i break it.

#8

Yup, just do a Search and Replace for jaunty and change to karmic.

aptitude/synaptic update, and there you go.

#9

Guys, To confirm; Karmic Host VirtualBox OSE is running Windows XP Pro.
