I am new to Ubuntu. I also can not install 80.4 and 9.10 Ubuntu on may pc that I have build myself. Inside windows and fool install Ubuntu disk starts fine. After first reboot sceene has vertical lines in all colors and that is as far as I go.
Running Win. Wista fine.
