[SOLUCIONADO] Ayuda actualizaciones

Hola, tengo Ubuntu 8.10, y desde hace un tiempo no puedo actualizar, me dice primero que debo hacer una actualizacion parcial y luego que esta no se puede hacer..aquí imagenes:

creo que tienes repositorios que resultan incompatibles en este punto. Por favor pon acá el contenido de tu archivo sources.list. Lo ṕuedes ver escribiendo en el terminal:

gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Prueba a hacer lo siguiente:

# sudo mv /var/lib/dpkg/info/ /var/lib/dpkg/info_moved

# sudo mkdir /var/lib/dpkg/info

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

# sudo mv /var/lib/dpkg/info/* /var/lib/dpkg/info_moved

# sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/info

# sudo mv /var/lib/dpkg/info_moved /var/lib/dpkg/info

a mi me funciona siempre que hay un paquete rebelde... en vez de actualizar reinstalo el paquete y luego sigo los otros pasos y listo

Creo que debes desactivar los backports, mejor entra a Synaptic --> Configuración --> Repositorios--> Actualizaciones y que queden desmarcadas las "aún no publicadas" y las "no soportadas"

Según entendí no los tiene activados ¿Por qué crees que están activados esos repositorios? Saludos.

Podrías poner una captura cuando aparece el error o si es posible revisar y pegar o adjuntar lo mas sospecho del archivo "/var/log/dpkg.log"?, segun entendí quieres solo actualizar tus paquetes NO una actualización de distribución, cierto?
