Hello everyone! My name is Matt and I live in Silver City, way down in in the middle of nowhere. I am originally from Charlotte, NC and have been using Ubuntu for about 2 years. I fell in love with the whole open source movement when I found out there was an alternative to MS and I didn't have to pay thousands for a good pc loaded with tons of software. I am continually learning about different features and have recently upgraded a new laptop from MS (lack-of)Vista to Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope 9.04. I feel this is the best release yet and I believe it only gets better from here. I look forward to learning from the group and hopefully being able to share what I have learned with many people out here in the wilderness.
