I just installed ubuntu on my g3 ibook, and when I boot, I get an error that X refused to start, and I'm stuck in text mode.
Any idea what to do to fix it?
The error is X: cannot stat /etc/X11/X (No such file or directory), aborting

you could try reinstalling, maybe something went wrong. otherwise you make have to mess around with the x config.
