Next install Forum - Ubuntu CDs

Hi everyone,

I'm very new to Ubuntu and I'd like to try the software on a few machine at home. In light that I've had difficulty (severe Windows viruses), in burning the .iso file, I wanted to know if there would be a local meeting where Ubuntu CDs would be available?? I am not to sure about a local meeting me being new to Ubuntu also, but i do know that you can order the Cd's off of the Internet from the Ubuntu store -- http://shop.canonical.com/ --
