Hello, I've just installed Kubuntu on my iBook g3 900... The system sounds are working fine, but when I play a cd I don't hear a thing. Anybody knows how to solve this? Thanks.

You need to make sure that the Settings for your CD player have ALSA not aRts as the place that the sound comes from.
