I would like to ask a backport of gphoto 2.1.99. It sports some great new features including the ability to import photos from usb mass storage cameras, support for few dozen new cameras and experimental support for MTP (media transfer protocol) that is used by some of the iRiver and Creative mp3 players. On another note, it would be easy to make new packages if the original libgphoto2 wasn't split into two parts.
