Hi all, although this is a separate project, I'd like to announce the Ubuntu Java project (which will meet the goals I proposed some time ago). After thinking and discussing the subject, I reached the conclusion that there has to be a separate project because this way the Ubuntu BP won't have to be restricted by not backporting competing VM's or components (like the GNU Classpath, etc.).
It'd would be nice a close relationship could be established between both projects.
