The new version of inkscape fixes an annoying bug that was biting me with focus-follows-mouse. It also adds some features that would most likely be useful to a good number of people. I don't know if it builds cleanly from the dapper sources, but I had no problem compiling it with the sources from the inkscape website, so I imagine it would build.
