Was introducing my relatives to the joy of Ubuntu and hit a snag when one of them requested a virtual keyboard that had ZhuYin on it.
After failing to find an existing .sok layout, I decided to make my own. So here it is for anyone else who might need it - I cut a few corners for the tone markings, but it works. :)
excuse me, but how i can open it? i mean i can extract the files, but after firefox or gedit try to open it but i think it's not how it is supposed to work (if i have to use the terminal, please write everything, because i'm not good at it!)

If a post is older than a year or so and hasn't had a new reply in that time, instead of replying to it, create a new thread. In the software world, a lot can change in a very short time, and doing things this way makes it more likely that you will find the best information. You may link to the original discussion in the new thread if you think it may be helpful.
