Ubunutu Karmic Koala Latest Updates etc. When downloading or saving to Desktop sometimes (intermittently) items will ot appear on desktop. Am running GNOME desktop, the only work around that has been working for me is to open the Desktop folder from within the Home folder, then do a manual refresh.
Any ideas on a fix? Or where to start looking so I can start thinking about what to play with to get this Big sorted?
