The Firefox Icon doesn't show in the latest Firefox using the latest Ubuntuzilla Script...Any ideas?

#2

Easy,go to preferences, main menu, edit Firefox launche and change the icon (new icon /opt/firefox/icons/mozicon128.png)

#3

That should be easy enough but there's no icon after installing the script. No icon in the menu and when I create it, it doesnt look right

here is a screen shot

Hi try refreshing your panel, by running from a terminal:

killall gnome-panel
#6

I do get the icon, but it is the one in the scren shot..Would a reinstall of both programs do anything?

#7

Since I mucked a few things up, its just easier to reinstall..Shouldnt take too long and I have everything saved in FF anyway :)

#8

If anyone has any more suggestions since I really don't want to reinstall, im welcome to hear them :)

#9

well... did you do anything with your menu before it stopped showing?

the ubuntuzilla install process doesn't touch the menu icons, so that couldn't cause it.
