so whats going to be my limitations if any with using raid in server edition(DK)? also will server edition come with LAMP or do i have to manually install it?

There is no easy way to use raid in Ubuntu CE server edition as it is a live cd. The Ubuntu CE server edition come with LAMP.

im having some serious issues with burning this to a disk...is there something special i should be knowing about burning this image?
also can you post the link of where to download uce server again.
i burned uce server to a disk and booted to it but i get the same error message i did with the vm attempt...

Use K3B to burn it to disk.

i couldnt select anything....that error pops up immediately upon boot.

Than it might be corrupted ISO file. Have you check the md5sum?

i didn what you said and came out with the exact same error. i have re-downloaded for the 4th time now and used k3b to burn. what am i doing wrong?

Have you checked the md5sum? If the md5sum correct, we need to look for other problem. But if md5sum is wrong, I might need to re-upload the iso file.

here is the md5sum i get from the iso i just downloaded yesterday from the link you posted, this is the same link ive been downloading from the beginning. It doesnt match the md5sum you posted under the link:

Not correct, I guess you have to use torrent. Do you know how to download using torrent? Use it to repair the downloaded iso file.

I have crated a torrent file, please download attached and extract it. After that open the file using torrent client, and point the saving location to the downloaded iso file.
After that force recheck to check the iso file. By the way, I am also seeding it so that it could repair your file afterward.

Stop the torrent first, and then copy the downloaded iso file to the torrent folder. After that do a force recheck. It should shows some percentage already downloaded.
And what is your ip address and port for your torrent? I will add it manually so that your torrent could start.

I have tried to connect to your torrent from 2 locations but not successful. I am still seeding now from two locations.
By the way, how did you download the iso file? May be you could try to download using download manager. One of my favourite is multiget:
This is to make sure the download is successful and fast.
If using download manager still fail, I will split the file to 13 pieces so that it is easier for you to download.
