I know that Ubuntu Mobile is made to run on a MID, but has anybody tried to run it on a MID capable cell phone like a BlackBerry or Treo???? Better yet, has anybody ever tried to build a phone running on it????

I know it's made for a touch screen device. Is anybody familiar with the components and specs for a homemade touchscreen type phone, or where I can find them??? I would like one with a full keyboard.

I know that a typical cell phone isn't made with the power to process a full OS like Linux, but I can't help but think it has to be possible to make Ubuntu Mobile or Moblin run on it.

Is there a phone app on Ubuntu MID at all?????? I know there is Skype, but what about a simple phone app that I might be able to use with a cell phone service for dialing.
