I'm trying to help a blind person learn to code and I'm about 1 straw away from advising cygwin on XP because the assistive stuff seems to be much more robust on that OS.

If you want help here, you need patience. If you want faster help then you can pay Ubuntu for it via the Ubuntu Store.
