Hey guys,
How could I create my own Ubuntu-based distro? I know OpenSuse offers some kind of program which makes it easy to customize things. I like Ubuntu a lot more though. Anyone care to explain to a Linux newbie how this can be done? All the documentation I found was too confusing for my brain. :)
i would recommend getting some more experience with ubuntu/linux before making a distro based off ubuntu or any other distro.
Look for remastersys and UCK (Ubuntu Customization Kit).
Just a short question: Does Remastersys also include all the themes you have in your current install? and could we incorparted stuff like Compiz to start at startup (lol)?
