my computer stops like clock work every morning

hello people well a friend help me instald this and now my computer stop every morning at 7h37am/ everything does not move and the only way i have to push the reset button to get things going again...there is 2 peoples know with the same thing it maybe a bug????:confused:

I haven't heard anything about a hang that happens at a percise time like this. Other then that part, it sounds like you might be encountering the powernowd issue. Check out this thread for instructions on how disable powernowd: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=76288&highlight=hang+powernowd

Or it might be some hardware incompatibilty.

Try my guide about the DOUBLE CLOCK SPEED, the link to which you can find in my signature (below), and use "noapic" as boot option (it's all described in the guide).

Disabling APIC can help sometimes.

hello world this week i was looking at my replies and i was thinking of what went wrong with this computer my friend recently change my mother board power supply and this was all used/ also he instaled everything in double/ clients,burners,cd,ext /some time i am loading my modules and my synchronizing clock to ntp,ubuntulinux,org (failed) /can it be a double clock speed problem????

also when i am looking at files on my tv it freeze and also i can*t look at 2 files one after an other /

it looks like when i removed one burner and removed a cliente things got better/before i was on amule and linux manually/i am thingking of removing my extras and to get back on what i had before??????:-k

i know i am slow on this but i have learnd to take my time and i thank-you all for your help paxjapan
