Kansas Logo

Anyone with art skills want to make us a Kansas Logo that we can use?

Ok , I do a little graphics.. here is a five min. job as an Idea

Looks great! Can you make a few more (if you have the time) and maybe we can post a poll to see which one gets voted for?

Here's one that is probably too obvious, incorporating the center of the State Seal....

Another idea might be to seek permission from a Kansas artist like Stan Herd to crop some of his (crop) art into a logo.

I thought I might integrate all the ideas thrown out so far, and I think it looks quite nice if I may say so myself! :)

I like that except I'm afraid people will get lost in the color and varity within it. I have a short attention span so who knows, it may not distract other people. :D

So should we take all the ideas and put it to a vote? I want to build a website for the Kansas LoCo and I'm kind of waiting on a logo. :)

Not having a logo, we used this for a Kansas LoCo meeting in Salina for party favors. It's nice and simple, the kansas sunflower with ubuntu logo imposed. I would suggest re-tracing the sunflower in inkscape for vector svg however if it was selected as the logo or part of the final logo.
