I had posted this earlier on the general section of the forum without any response. I only came across this specific section today.

I hope that you may be able to assist.

My partner is coming around to my way of thinking that Linux is the way to go. Unfortunately she is partially sighted and her condition is a degenerative one.

I have been attempting to alter the mouse settings to better suit her needs but can't see how I can achieve that. What I seek is a single mouse click and to change cursor colour & size.

How may I achieve this ?

Read Ubuntu Eye Candy.

Perhaps you could also do other changes to provide more contrast.

Many thanks Sef.

That is a great help for the cursor. At the moment that was the main stumbling block. Most browsers now permit scaling of text to suit her needs but the cursor gets left behind.

So far contrast is not too bad but it will be required later.

Fortunately her interests are mainly centred around photography so as long as she can keep doing that things should work.

I appreciate your prompt reply. My original post went unanswered for 5 days but posting to the specific forum gave an immediate response.

My sincere thanks for your assistance
