InstallationMedia

Just out of curiousness... The file /var/log/installer/media-info contains the information of which installation media (Ubuntu version) is used when you installed a fresh install. It is also used by apport to set InstallationMedia variable. Does it have any consequences if you edit the file say to Lucid Lynx?

I believe that post shows you which file to change and the info that should be included.

The file you're looking at is just a log, so changing it probably won't help. ;)
