Some people are kind of conserative. They like to wait and see if it is worth it. I would guess that is the case here.

just updated myself to lucid.

first time i did it this early, karmic i waited for alpha 2 and jaunty waited for alpha 6 and intrepid beta.

i seem to be getting earlier.

It is a progressive sickness.

Ranch Hand It is so progressive. I am going to reload Karmic tomorrow and then upgrade to do it as the developers intend (but I like to experiment)

I was busy trying to answer Q's in the regular forums. Some strange predicament some folks have gotten them selfs into, with karmic & grub2.

Over rated if you ask me! mind you it's a pain when you need to bypass gui because of no or bad drivers.

BTW the menu.list is replaced by grub.cfg

If you check the link in my sig you will find I am aware of the grub.cfg file and a number of other interesting things about grub2.

The guys that wrote the links in it can make grub2 sit up and beg. One knows how to get it to lay down and die without hosing your system too.
