For everything there is a season and a purpose unto Ubuntu.
A time to till and a time to ripen. A springtime when deferred features sprout young and verdant (1st after LTS) A summer as the first crop ripens and the second sprouts (2nd after LTS) An autumn as the harvest is gathered and winter-crops planted (3rd after LTS) A winter of long, deep freezes, yet the produce cured in cellars and careful conservation yields a comfortable life.(LTS)
The professional looks to winter and having wisdom, smiles if the work be good, for few can give him a solidly-built OS every two years.
The rootless popular-PC-ist looks at the mown fields of autumn and the mud of spring and even the cold beauty of winter and asks "Why can summer not continue forever? Why do things not steadily advance?" Oh, vanity! Without tilling the land dies and bears no fruit. Without pointing, brickwork collapses. Have a little patience, or if ye be able-bodied take up the hoe and join us. The greatest part of the work is already done.
There is beauty in winter's starkness. Without rest, there is exhaustion. Let us now age the cellar goods that are the final fruits of this year and care for the winter crops that care for the ground.
Or at least, that's just how I see it.
