how is the full circle magazine made?

Hi, What tools are used to publish the pdf magazine and how do you guys make those picture links that links to other pages? eg. i press on a certain picture it brings me to a certain page.

i believe the main part of the mag is made with scribus

i do recall reading in one of the past issues that Ronnie was going to make up a tutorial for the magazine that shows how it is made and to date it has not appeared unfortunately.

no doubt they are very busy putting it all together ;)
