I downloaded Ubuntu 9.10 yesterday and I have successfully installed the OS. However I cannot connect to the internet because it does not recognise the Linksys Router and adapter, or drivers or anything. How do I get to get this wireless system working so I can then use Ubuntu all the time. Cheers Robert

I was hoping someone would have given me a reply by now. However, some more information. The router I am using is WRT54GS The Wireless adapter is WYSB300N
The System tells me that; "No proprietary drivers are in use on this system"
Cheers Robert
OK I'll keep replying to myself and then I know I will never understand.
Tried to download the set-up wizards and documentation for both the router and the USB adapter, but neither will run due to The Archive Manager not recognising some end of file tag, so it comes up as an error.
There must be some way of downloading the drivers etc
Can someone p-lease help me
Cheers Robert
What a fantastic helpful community this is! I post 3 messages in 7 days requesting help and not one bloody person could be bothered to answer. Thanks a lot people. Remind me to extend the same courtesy to you all when the time warrants it. With little cheer... Robert
