Hey guys, this new kernel fixed an issue i was having with usplash giving me funky colors, but it still isn't allowing virtualbox to compile. Otherwise, all is well!
Any other experiences?

Works like a charm, didn't look if I had weird boot experiences though. Had some monochrome thing in the previous kernel.
Don't know about you, but I liked the acid trip usplash. It was like a Mandelbrot set.
Boots to black screen on Thinkpad with R31 video. Workaround is change quiet splash to nomodeset in /etc/default/grub then sudo update-grub. 2.6.31-14 linux-image works O.K. so it is a linux-image bug not an xorg bug. I've been unsuccessful at entering a launchpad bug with ubuntu-grub the only way to do this is to ssh in from another pc. The procedure gets all the way to the send the report then launchpad itself says "sorry, ...."
Oh, well, I can run with nomodeset.
On i845 intel integrated chipset no sound. 2.6.31-14 works O.K.
