I'm running Jaunty. Tried to install Thunderbird 3 using Ubuntuzilla, and it worked fine until the end. That's when it told me I had corrupted downloads, asked me if I wanted to delete the corrupted downloads, and then ended. I also tried to update using the Ubuntuzilla updater, and the updater wanted to install 2.0.0.23.

I think the update problem may have something to do with the way I installed Thunderbird originally, which may have been through the repository and not Ubuntuzilla. I was switching from Vista, and was so busy backing up my profile that the installation process is kind of blurry.

Any thoughts?

Hi

thanks for pointing this out!

the thunderbird3 release is signed with a new mozilla messaging gpg key i have now added this key to ubuntuzilla key checks, so please upgrade to the latest ubuntuzilla (ubuntuzilla 4.8.2), and try installing again. :)
