I believe that most of the Ubuntu / Linux community is widely dispered over many networks, but lets make ubuntu more popular

Welcome Sary Muhammad, Roderic, thecrazyjogger, Abdulraheem!

Wow, too many linux users are here! Let's raise the bar! :p

Honestly, I'm thinking of gathering a group of people who are using Linux OS here in the Kingdom, and participate on "Software Freedom Day" every year.

The Purpose is very simple.

It is to share the open source software to all the people here in the Kingdom. Making them see and open their minds that MS Windows is not the only OS in the planet.

Linux Rocks!

If we can gather a huge number of Linux enthusiasts / experts who are here in the Kingdom, maybe we can do some projects together.

Promoting Linux in all schools, offices, Houses.

I know many ideas are there for us to share Linux here in the Kingdom.

Let us take our first step to conduct some community projects for Linux here in the Kingdom.

Let's start here in Jeddah.

Please suggest.

Thank you.
