Looking for recommendations for a digital pen.

I've recently lost tactile sensation in my left hand middle finger which make typing a pain so I'm looking into alternate ways to write into my computer. If it matters I use OpenOffice.org on Ubuntu and WinXP.

Thanks

Not correct. They can be used for writing. After all, writing is a form of drawing.

I just received my new Logipen Notes. It's handwriting recognition works really well (and my handwriting really sucks...)!!! I take notes during class and when I get home I upload all my notes to MS Word and edit them. Then I send them to my classmates. It's a lot easier than bringing a tablet pc to class... Check it out!

Dose Logipen Notes work on Ubuntu 10.04 64bit?
