I always work with around 26 or so tabs opened I will switch to the mozilla version of firefox because of this - guys your build sux big time.

every little while my firefox will freeze - it's windows will turn a little dark (compiz way of showing freezing windows)

also when I type I see the letters about 10 - 4 seconds after they are typed

this happens on a fresh 9.10 install

it happens every time I run firefox (sas on about page "Mozilla firefox for ubuntu canonical - 1.0)

Such version I must say was a mistake of me to have it instead of the mozilla version.

even as I type this it goes like that, I see what I type only about 2-10 seconds after it's been pressed.

also sometimes the windows being dark stays like this for 10-30 seconds which is a huge problem when I use the broswer to surf on the internet.

but really isn't a problem when I do with it all the other things it's meant for :)

I just hope that switching to the mozilla version will fix all my problems

by the way - I have no problems scrolling, only typing. but it goes dark anyways from time to time randomly

Hi,

no idea if it will fix you problem... first thing i'd try is start a fresh profile with no addons, and see if problem persists.

you could of course also try the mozilla build to see if that helps.

Trying starting without any extensions and adding them back to work out what might be causing this behavior - you'll need to start with a fresh profile.

One thing that improved things for me was shrinking my default font size from 16->14. YMMV HTH?

that's really old - from 2008, and is talking about firefox 3.0.
