Ubuntu and Ubuntu live-CD 5.10 dont start X properly on my configuration.
I have :
- Athlon 2200+
- nVidia 6600 ( no gt ) AGP 8x
- chipset VIA KT400A
At start the nvidia driver fail to initialize properly and I have no graphic display at all. I resolved the pbm unintalling the driver ( version 7671 dont remember exactly ) and then installing nvidia latest binary ( along with kernel-headers ).
