I am looking at /etc/apt/sources.list file for ubuntu ec2 image. If I need to add more repositories like restricted, then where it will be available?

Sorry. I don't know enough to understand your question. The syntax looks correct w/o the '?' What do you need in that repository? Is your instance to run in Amazon?
Yes, it will run on amazon ec2 cloud platform. So you confirmed it, syntax is correct. thanks
