Simpsonville here. Just started using Ubuntu this week. Two older PCs now set-up for dual boot. Gaining more confidence in the system before installing dual boot on my 64-bit workstation.

I'm very impressed with the support given here amongst users!

Simpsonville - Scuffletown Road Area

Installed 10.04 Server on an old industrial PC. Hoping to use Ubuntu to control and monitor a home-brew solar water heating system.

Fair amount of (past) experience using C++ in a QNX 4.2 environment to control a production testing system as part of a larger automation system for a automotive component supplier.

First time ubuntu user. 50 year old brain is struggling to remember unix. So far so fun.
