How to disable the crash reporter

Hello,

Almost every time I close Firefox or Thunderbird I get the crash reporter window popup. How can I disable this? Furthermore, how can I troubleshoot this so that it stops doing it?

Any pointers appreciated. Thanks!

are you using the ubuntuzilla packages? (if not, ask in the general forum)

if yes... try running it from a terminal, then close and see if you get any interesting info. or try submitting the crash report. it's hard to say what's causing it, could be any number of things.

first thing i'd try is see if the behavior persists with a fresh profile. then you'll know if it's due to something borky in your profile, or something else. 9/10 it's the profile.
