I upgraded using the following code:
sudo sed -i 's/maverick/natty/g' /etc/apt/sources.list
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
The desktop looks exactly like 10.10 (though the version shows as 'natty'). Is that the way it should look at this time?

And sometimes the toys break us? (Just fixed a system left unbootable from the maverick -> natty upgrade, but chroot and update-initramfs -c -k all worked.)
I believe Alpha 1 is released on November 4th. Not long to go.

I would think that the average person might be upset at the possibility of receiving a gift was broken. But a wild guess tells me that many of us here as kids used to break our christmas gifts in an effort to make them better.
And what could be better then a gift that is already broken? It SAVES us the time that it would take to break it! :)
