Hi there
Myself and a number of others are hoping to set up some kind of Open Media event in Lincoln, which would coincide with the possible launch of a Lincoln version of the community news site Indymedia UK, some kind of presentation from the people at Creative Commons and (hopefully!) some sort of taster training event in GIMP and other Open Source design tools running on Ubuntu Studio.
I was basically wondering if there was any experience of other Open Source or Ubuntu events we could learn from? And also whether there were any other opportunities to network and share ideas of how to promote Ubuntu in the UK in general?
