Hi All -- I've spent the day trying to find this info. Perhaps I'm using the wrong search terms, I don't know. Anyway, here's my situation:
The organization I work for has a volume license for Windows XP. They said it's fine with them for me to download the Windows XP Pro files which they have on a server. Since these are legit files, I've got the reg key.
So, my question is, how can I use these files to make a bootable Windows XP cd / dvd? Is it possible? The people I work for are not tech-savvy (an me only slightly so), so I'm on my own with this.
I did read up on the method to accomplish this in Windows using bcd from the command line, and thought there should be some analogous program in Ubuntu. Is there...? If not, then I'll migrate the project over to my WinXP desktop, but since I try to do everything I can on Ubuntu, I count that as a last resort.
Anybody?
