As per the information at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=290685 I would like to apply for a Loco sub-forum.

As for the requirements described:

1 - We exist on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LoCoTeamList and the newer http://loco.ubuntu.com/ as the Australian Ubuntu team.

2 - As a team we have decided to request for the au.ubuntuforum.org prefix if this is available.

3 - Our loco team name is Ubuntu-AU.

4 - We would like to propose ikt (http://ubuntuforums.org/member.php?u=362528) and phlosten (http://ubuntuforums.org/member.php?u=68306) to be the sub-forum moderators.

5 - I am Jared Norris (https://wiki.ubuntu.org/JaredNorris) and I am the new team contact and am now listed in the relevant places.

Please let me know how this goes and if you require any more information. Thank you in advance.

I have created the forum, but unfortunately it only appears when connected to one of our webservers. I have contacted Canonical to correct the issue (there's a known fix for when this happens).

Once that's done I'll add the new moderators and post back here :)

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause!

Thank you for such a quick response!

I will await your next post when it's all sorted so I can report to the team that it has been created.

Everything should be up and running now :)

On behalf of the Ubuntu-AU team, thank you so much for your quick action. It is a credit to the forums to have such a good response time, I was expecting a turnaround of a couple of days not hours.

No worries, thanks for choosing us ;)

I admit, you caught me at a good time. Sometimes it is days until I get round to it :)
