I dont know if anyone here have tryed Pardus 2011? I use Ubuntu 10.10 mostly, but if I want to using a distribution with the KDE desktop I can recommend Pardus 2011:

Its a userfriendly distribution that "works out of the box" with preinstalled mediacodes. Similar to Linux Mint. So give it a try.:)

I can't believe it! Another Pardus user? I thought it was the best kept secret! How are you?

I have to say that Pardus is the best KDE distro I've ever tried and I've tried many!

Out of the box and away you go!

I'm surprised there isn't a prefix for Pardus. Why is that?

Two obvious shills for this obscure distro. You want KDE? Use Kubuntu.

I just think Pardus is one of the best implemented operating system with the KDE desktop. And I am not the only one: http://desktoplinuxreviews.com/2011/01/31/pardus-2011/ http://linuxblog.darkduck.com/2011/03/7-surprises-from-turkey.html

But its a matter of taste of course. Kubuntu and Pardus are in almost same place in Distrowatch list so I would not call it a obscure distro.

Back off - Pardus is Strong. Strong like a tiger!

(I looked at Pardus before I started helping out with Fuduntu).
