الترجمه

ممكن اعرف ازاي اظهر ترجمه فيلم باللغه العربيه على افلام امتداد avi لانها بتظهر برموز غريبه ولما بفتح ملف الترجمه ب notepad مش بتبقى مكتوبه بالعربي .

guys i need help with subtitles " .srt" files . arabic subtitles are shown in strange symobls like these in picture and when i open srt file with notepad i see them written in strange symbols too .

تأكد أن الخط الذي إختارته به ترميز للغة العربية Make sure the selected font has ARABIC encoding. Times New Roman is a nice choice for testing.

the following was useful to me { right click on file>Properties>Open With>Add button then >use a custom command and write

gedit --encoding=WINDOWS-1256

then click add

try open file again }

or in VLC tools > preferences > Subtitles&OCD > default encoding > arabic(Windows-1256)
