Not much info from AMD here. However, it is said that the Gnome3 issues were not fixed.

Yeah, just had another X hang with a fresh fglrx. Luckily, it's a fresh install, so I just popped in the CD and was back in 20 minutes. Must stop trying to make fglrx work, must stop...
