After reading the list of changes for Oneiric it sounds like a good plan to remove a few packages while replacing them with others, for example Evolution will be replaced by Thunderbird and Computer Janitor scrapped from the CD but very useful packages are being considered for loss like LibreOffice which is an important inclusion for many people who use Ubuntu in the office or have a slow internet connection...
Which packages would you like to see scrapped or replaced ??
Where did you find this info, as so far I have only heard rumours, not seen anything else in print.
I would think that it would be the gnome office suite stuff that would go instead of libreoffice.
But, then again, LibreOffice is an actually useful program so it would have very low priority in Ubuntu planning.
