Actually, Natty does pretty well, apart from a slow boot. But sssshhhh! - don't let it be known that I'm running Unity.

When I was just about to quote you in my signature, lol. I haven't tried Natty on my EeePC. 10.04 runs so darn good on it already.:)
To be fair, Natty is on an SDHC card in the card slot, which wouldn't make it blindingly fast. The funny thing is, I've got a Natty install with Openbox on a USB stick (no Unity at all) and it's even SLOWER to boot.
I'm perfectly happy with 10.04, but all the yelling and screaming and hating got me curious, so I just had to see what it was all about...

Anyone have an actual link to where you can buy one of these preinstalled? According to Canonical, they are available preinstalled now.

P.S. anyone know the difference between the 1011PX and the 1015PX? After comparing them on ASUS's website, the only difference that i could find was that the 1015PX has the option for a 500GB drive and the 1011PX doesn't. I assume there has to be more of a difference than that.

Not so fast. Near the price, it's written "Non disponibile", unavailable.
What worries me is that a search for "ubuntu" in asus' website returns no results, they don't seem to acknowledge the existence of their product.
At least in the italian shop we can see that the ubuntu version is €40 cheaper than the windows countepart, a 18% price reduction.
I'll try to contact their salesmen.

Ubuntu Natty runs superb on my eeePC 1015B with 2GB ram and AMD C50 processor. The Win7 starter which was OEM made the poor thing crawl.
