Downgraded to 10.10 LTS I like my n51vn again!

I made the mistake of updating to the new OS when it came out. Nothing but slowdowns and trouble. I suffered through several weeks of it till I got enough time to wipe and head back to 10.10LTS - what a difference!

My ASUS behaves like the desktop replacement it was meant to be again.

Never liked Unity and couldn't get it to stop crawling even in Classic mode.

My thoughts? Don't bother.

If there is a build or kernel :guitar:that'll run faster I'd love to know of it.

I have an Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 @2.53Ghz

Same issues with same laptop :( I even tried fedora 16, and I observed same problems.

I'm waiting for a solution ...

This issue still hasnt been fixed, i don't think it ever will be fixed.

Developers are i think ignoring the issue and/or refusing to fix it.

Disabling ACPI is the only solution (A really bad one at that).
