Where's Unity?!

From the looks of it, the op is running Unity, and tista is running gnome shell, what's the problem?
To add diversity with out confusion I will say right now that this is Xubuntu 12.04-testing. EDIT Attachment did not work. Let me try that again.
I think this worked.

Hey that looks really good ranch. Is that close to default or lots of tweaking?

The bugger is pretty standard. Tweaked the panel to suit me. Launchers are added. Background added (not sure where I got it) and it was tweaked a bit with Gimp to adjust color balance and brightness.
Now if I could just get the theme "retro" (xfce theme) to work. Does on the other install (and on here too).
I am not big on KDE at all but that looks really good. I particularly like the temp gauge, that is sharp.
May just be the 60s auto gauge look that gets me but I like it.
Thanks. Everything you see but one is part of the standard install. Only thing extra I install is smooth-tasks (in the repos) for the win7ish task manager. I change the background and change to oxygen theme and add the Widgets to the desktop . Oneiric Kubuntu runs fantastic for me and the 7 machines I manage. Not saying anything bad about the others but unity and gshell in their current forms just aren't for me.
