Change the Dash buttons?

Hello, I think we should change the Dash a little bit. Currently it is:

Media apps, Web apps, More apps, Find files

It is very easy to open Totem and Gwibber, but to open Simple-Scan I need to click more buttons with other apps then with web or media apps. It´s almost like software racism. :lol: :P I think it should be:

Browse apps, Manage software/More apps (USC button), Browse files, Search files

Browse apps should just be a big screen showing everything installed. Manage software should open the USC, I guess. Browse files should be like the files lens used to be Search files should be a search bar with the filer thing thats new in Oneiric.

Thoughts? :P

Browse apps should lead to some sort of category filter, gnome 2 style, currently on gnome shell when I click applications and get all apps listed, it just gives the impression of disorganized mess, it would be quite similar to this otherwise

Simple Scan can also be launched by clicking the System menu (the power cog at the top right of the screen) and selecting Scanner.

Should it also be there in case you access a network shared scanner? (which is the case here, print/scanner server runs Ubuntu server with sane as daemon, Ubuntu machines have sane configured for network - currently working).

i like the idea of adding software center to the dash

i would also add:

-let you pin which lens you want the dash to default to when you open it. For example sometimes i want it to default to apps or files

-Remember which lens you were browsing, at least for 5 to 10 mins

-show recently used apps list.
