It appears very intergrated to me with the exception , perhaps , that it is not installed by default.

Hi, how did you mange to launch it? I can see that I have gnome-screensaver installed using

aptitude search gnome-screensaver

but I can't find it in the unity menu and running "gnome-screensaver" from the commandline doesn't launch the screensaver config either - it just tells me:

WARNING : screensaver already running in this session
