Visual Boy Advance

Hey, does anyone have Visualboyadvance running successfully on Ubuntu 11.10? I downloaded it out of the USC, but it just won't load...I tried getting it off of playdeb.net but the .deb wouldnt load in the USC..any suggestions?

Hey, thanks for the link..VBA express loaded up, but the game would not load up without any graphics filter on it, and when I did it obviously made it look really crazy....then when the game did load it said that 1m-sub culture wasn't installed or something like that

I had VBA working in 11.04, then I did a clean install to 11.10 and the game loads but lags severely. It is almost unplayable. On the same system running 11.04 a typical ROM would run at 130%- 180% speed, which was great for playing a little faster than usual. Now the same ROM plays at only about 25%. everything else is the same, so what gives? I might try running in Unity 2D or some other shell and seeing if maybe my graphics card is just too stressed.
