Suggestion

After reading all the posts and replies; it becomes apparent that what needs to be done is to develope a web browser (among other things) specifically aimed at women. If you want to attract women to Ubuntu; then give them what they can't find anywhere else! I've been using Ubuntu for several months (a former XP user who switched out of frustration) and it's a treat to work with; but some of the choices I've been left with for browsers are somewhat disappointing. They either don't have compatible skins for Ubuntu or the skins are too "flowery" (Mozilla Firefox has over a dozen on cats alone!!). If someone were to take on the creation of a web browser specifically with women in mind, they may want to consider using only women as their testers.

Sounds like you just want a better theme for firefox.

I don't really see the point of a whole new browser though, it would be far easier to just develop any missing extensions then create a .deb package that comes with them pre-installed.
