Playing Island with SDLMAME?

Hello,

I have the sdlmame version: sdlmame 0.141-0.0 (An emulator for many arcade games)

I would to know if you are capable to play Island (050713 World) with it ?

Current mame version is 0.144 so you might have more luck with that ;)

I just tried this ROM with sdlmame 0.144.u4 and it freezed at the boot Screen.

PS: Why didn't you try it yourself?

thx. I haven't not the last version of ubuntu installed, and it also freezed.

Do you know if mame does need a bios to make it work like a real arcade? One has the switch : -rom

  1. It doesn't matter which Ubuntu Version you run, only the MAME Version matters.
  2. If it would neeed a BIOS it wouldn't even boot. That means that it doesn't need a BIOS and just doesn't work at all.
